Of all salons I have been to, I have never experienced someone literally talking to my hair and slowly attended to every strand as she do my box braids, which was not tight at all. In addition she diagnosed my hair and gave me some good recommendations. A 5 star for me!!!”
I asked for long knotless braids, not only did I receive what I asked for but the service and experience was one of a kind. She took her time and put care into my braids. I’m more than happy with how it came out and IJala is amazing I will most certainly be coming back. Tell a friend to tell a friend.
My hair turned out really good. I was very happy with the results of my braids. The total experience and hospitality was amazing 10/10. She’s professional, and was also careful with my natural hair. IJala is amazing!! Not only did she do my daughters hair amazingly beautifully but she also shared a plethora of hair care knowledge with me. She is willing to teach us, as mothers, to know the basics about our children's multiracial hair. She gives me hope!! I have always wanted to learn just never had anybody will to teach, and genuinely want me to learn!! She wants me to have the ability to do and care for my daughters hair. I am sooo soo sooo glad to have found IJaya. IJala is an amazing hairdresser and an unbelievably wonderful human being!! The world needs more people like her. I don't know where to start... This women's hands have been blessed by the hair gods! she is a true revolution in this industry, not only does she do amazing work but she truly cares about the integrity of YOUR hair. She will recommend services that will benefit your strands, she can easily do a service and just "keep it pushing", so to say, but NO she really takes her time to educate you on your hair texture and type. She will formulate products for you and it feels like every time i go i get something custom to ME, custom to MY curls. She always tells me to love myself for my hair is a by product of the beauty god blessed me with on the inside, ijala prays over my hair and i feel so good every time i leave her salon. BTW every Friday they serve wine ;) if your a momma looking for a break go to Ijala's get you some wine and an amazing service.
IJala is an absolutely amazing hairstylist! She’s patient, kind and very professional. She’s a very gentle braider, which I love the most about her. She’s also very informative and helpful when facing challenges with ethnic hair. She would recommend hair products that will work best with your hair texture as well as instructions on how to apply it as a daily or weekly regimen. She’s the best!!
Beautiful and clean salon! I’Jala is truly one of a kind with magical hands that’ll put you to sleep every time. Her haircare expertise will have your hair growing back in no time. My hair is extremely thick and dry and unlike other salons in the area, I’Jala doesn’t make me feel like my hair is a burden or difficult to work with. She is truly talented and I can’t wait to go back!
